Quick and easy measurements in non-carbonated and carbonated beverage packaging
Using Hach’s LDO technology, the soft drink oxygen analyzer quickly measures dissolved oxygen in bottled and can drinks, expressed in milliliters (mL). Easy to use, just place a (shaken) bottle or can on the platform and puncture it. The analyzer monitors oxygen levels and determines the volume air content of the expansion space as well as the total air content of soft drinks in agitated packages.
Minimal impact on the packaging line due to the fast response of the measurement
It provides immediate oxygen readings with a measurement frequency of two seconds, reduces unnecessary line breaks and increases production uptime. Very precise measured values for the air in the package for non-carbonated and carbonated drinks.
Quantification of oxygen levels for product stability
Avoid oxidation of the products, which can cause negative changes in the color and stability of the product. The analyzer calculates TPO (total package oxygen) using dissolved oxygen values in agitated packages with a repeatable TPO validation standard. An air computer software is incorporated to allow data logging, for the purpose of precisely adjusting and reducing CO 2 consumption .
Low maintenance with minimal downtime
No deviations for 12 months and no need to replace membranes or any electrolyte. The use of luminescent technology ensures that the sensor does not require replacement of membranes or any electrolyte. In addition, the accuracy of the sensors is not affected by process changes or pressure shocks.
