Single-stage centrifugal pump as baseplate pump in accordance with EN 733, PN 25, with axial suction ports and radial discharge ports for installation on a base. Pump with support foot and flanged bearing bracket, coupling, coupling guard and motor mounted to same baseplate. The pump is suitable for pumping liquids with high temperatures such as superheated water up to 200 °C and heat carrier oil up to 350 °C. A thermal barrier separates the pump volute from the shaft outlet seal. This lowers the temperature in the mechanical seal chamber without the need for an external cooling system. This allows the use of a standardised, uncooled mechanical seal that is mounted directly on the shaft. A large cooling chamber provides space for venting the mechanical seal to avoid dry running.
