Tackling Global Climate Challenges with Grundfos Partners and Customers

Grundfos recently hosted 200 partners and customers to explore new ways to reduce electricity consumption and enhance energy efficiency in future buildings.
The event, named Explore NEXT, was held for the first time at Grundfos’ global headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark. Partners and Grundfos experts participated in an innovation hack focused on co-innovating and co-creating HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and water system solutions.
“Today, 40% of Europe’s total energy consumption comes from buildings. If we don’t rethink and redesign our building systems quickly, we cannot address the world’s growing climate challenges. Collaborating with customers and partners enables us to develop the energy-efficient solutions we need for the future,” said Morten Bach Jensen, CEO of the Domestic Buildings Services Division.
The innovation hack was the culmination of the Explore NEXT Truck Tour, which traveled across Europe over eight weeks to engage with partners and customers on the latest HVAC and water innovations.
“We are grateful to everyone who participated. Many creative ideas were generated to address energy savings in both commercial and domestic buildings, and we look forward to exploring the future of these concepts,” said Bent Jensen, CEO of the Commercial Buildings Services Division.
